There is nothing good about the debt ceiling deal between President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, lawyer Thomas “Tom” Renz said during the May 30 episode of “Lawfare with Tom Renz” on Brighteon.TV.
The Ohio-based attorney and founder of Renz Law noted that Americans are now looking at cuts in projected growth. Inflation in the United States is out of control and printing more money just leads to higher inflation. (Related: US could default on its debt by July if deal on raising the debt ceiling is not reached.)
“The economy is collapsing, everything’s going to hell. And McCarthy’s out here talking about how great of a deal it is – that we’re only going to increase the budget ceiling by four trillion dollars, rather than how much Biden said. And we look at this as though it’s some sort of a good deal. There’s no good deal in this. It’s ridiculous,” said Renz, who added that Americans must look at where the money is going.
Renz narrated the reasons why the deal is not good. He said it is not getting rid of the 87,000 new Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents or funding for trans in schools; it is not limiting or cutting back on the ability of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to persecute former President Donald Trump and the J6ers; and it is not going to reform the Department of Justice (DOJ).
“How was this a good deal? Who is it a good deal for? It isn’t for us. We the people aren’t getting a good deal out of this. It is a disaster,” Renz said.
According to Renz, they should have cut government spending – especially in programs that are not needed – instead of raising the debt ceiling. He scoffed at the Republicans who are trying to project the deal as a win, saying that it is actually pushing the Americans into a no-win situation.
Renz stressed there is nothing good about this deal and branded the Republicans as cowards compared to the Democrats who are fighting for their cause even if it is socialist communist garbage.
“I think that there’s nothing good on the Republican side. To suggest that this is a victory in any way, shape or form is an absolute slap in the face of the conservatives in the Republican Party and particularly to the people who stood behind McCarthy,” Renz said. He added that the conservatives in the Republican Party need to unite to really get a victory in Congress.
The patriot and freedom fighter also said McCarthy needs to explain how raising the debt ceiling was a victory for the American people, and how giving the Democrats everything they want in a lesser way constitutes a victory.
Renz pointed out the fight wasn’t going to end with the speakership battle and this fight in Congress will go on for the next two years. He stated that Republicans who want the American people to come out and fight for them need to fight for the people right now.
The Ohio lawyer noted that the debt ceiling is for two years, and this is going to take America through the 2024 presidential elections.
“This [deal] will allow the the bloated funding and expansion of the Joe Biden administration programs that the American people hate to continue,” Renz said.
He pointed out that the entire Republican Party platform is based on being the lesser of two evils, which he said is not a winning platform. “The American people don’t like losers because they want people who will be fighting for them.”
